Mrs. Billie C Wilkerson, age 70 of Georgia Hwy 102 E Gibson, Georgia died Monday morning December 30, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday January 2, in the Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Anderson officiating. Mrs. Wilkerson will lie in state from 10:00 AM until the service begins. Burial will follow in the Walden United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Chalker, Nick Chalker, Koby Kobetitch, Michel Clark, Michael Obney and C J Kersey.
Billie was born April 25, 1943 in Augusta to the late Carl & Florene Hadden McNeal. She was a lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church and worked at Thomson Company as a seamstress for more than 20 years.
Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by her parents and husband John W Wilkerson and is survived by a daughter Charlotte Parker, son Mark Chalker & Donna Flynn, sister Betty Sue May, brother Troy McNeal all of Gibson 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
The Wilkerson family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in the funeral home.
Taylor Funeral Home, 57 College Place, Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
