Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and graveside services of Mrs. Beulah Davis Lamb, age 87, of Calhoun Street, who died Sunday, May 3, 2015 in the Gibson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be held 5:00 PM Wednesday in the Jordan Chapel Church of God Cemetery, Edgehill, with Rev. David Jones officiating.
Beulah was a daughter of the late Joe and Emma Manning Davis. She was employed by the Stapleton Garment Factory for many years. "Miss Beulah", as she was affectionately known by the locals, possessed a passion for gardening, which was most evident to all who passed her home over the past 57 years. She attended Jordan Chapel Church of God.
Mrs. Lamb was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Tommie Lee Lamb and adopted son; Raymond Lamb and is survived by daughter-in-law; Elizabeth Ann H. Lamb, grandsons; Gregory A. Lamb and Charles A. Lamb, a special brother; Charlie Davis (Elsie) of Avera, twin sisters; Jodeen D. Davis of Louisville and Peggy D. Williams of Keysville, great granddaughter; Ashlie E. Lamb, great grandsons; Dalton B. Lamb and Nicholas P. Lamb, all of Gibson, several nieces and nephews.
The Lamb family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 PM Wednesday, May 6th at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorials may be made to the Jordan Chapel Church of God Cemetery fund, 7001 Jordan Chapel Road, Gibson, GA 30810.
