Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services for Mrs. Betty Louise Lamb Anderson, age 90, who died Friday, August 30, 2024, in the Keysville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in the St. John's Methodist Church in Wadley with Rev. Bob Norwood officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Brandon Green, Joshua Ford, Kyle Anderson, Joshua Bedingfield, and nephews: Davey Lamb and Thomas Lamb. A private burial will be in the Wadley City Cemetery.

A native of Wadley, Mrs. Anderson was a daughter of the late Mark Lamb and Louise Moore Lamb. She was a graduate of Wadley High School and retired from the Bank of Wadley after many years of service and was a long-time member of St. John's Methodist Church.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Millard Lee Anderson; son: Gary L. Anderson; brother: Jack Lamb; and sister: Donna L. Pettit and is survived by daughters: Betty Ann Anderson of Augusta, Wanda Anderson Ford of Sandersville; son: Mark W. Anderson of Wadley; sisters: Ann Oglesby (Donald), Judy Oglesby (Leonard), Peggy Powell (John Mack); grandchildren: Jonathan Ford (Jessica), Brandon Green (Rachel), Lauren Bedingfield (Josh), Joshua Ford (Christin), Kyle Anderson (Brittany); six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
