Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Bette Clark, age 90, of Hwy 171, Louisville who died Saturday morning October 15, 2022, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday October 18, 2022, in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Gary Hutchins & Jamie Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Bartow City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Jamie Wheeler, Stephen Boyd, Daniel Forbes, Kyle Forbes, Tre Wheeler, Hutch Wheeler, Randall Key, Josh Arrington & Bailey Wren.

A native of Jefferson County, Bette was the daughter of the late Daniel Bryant & Charlotte Forehand Bryant. She was a 1949 graduate of Louisville Academy and retired from Thermo-King after 25 years of service in the Receiving Department. Bette attended the Chapel at St. Johns Towers. Bette loved the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs and eating Klondike bars but her greatest pastime was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy Clark and a daughter, Diane Forbes Clark, and is survived by her children, Debbie Hadden (Terry) of Louisville, Cindy Boyd (Todd), of North Augusta, SC., Eddie Forbes, Jr., (Penny) of Grovetown, grandchildren, Jamie Wheeler (Laura) of Louisville, Michele Key (Randall) of Augusta, Stephen Boyd (Chelsea) of Millen, Daniel Forbes (Brooke) of Harlem, Katie Arrington (Josh) of Wadley, Kyle Forbes (Haley) of Martinez, and Morgan Yearty, of Waynesboro, great-grandchildren, Tre Wheeler (Taylor) of Tennille, Tori Wren (Bailey) of Bartow, Hutch Wheeler (Anna), of Bartow, Bryson Boyd, of Millen, Mallie Arrington, of Wadley Lillie Forbes, of Harlem, and Levi Forbes, of Harlem, great-great grandchildren, Trevor Wheeler, of Tennille, Tinley Grace Wheeler, of Tennille, and one great grandson on the way, Grayson Boyd, and many lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends 12:00 till 2:00 PM Tuesday prior to services at the funeral home.

The family respectfully request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 106 SRP Dr, Evans GA 30809 or online at alz.org or to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer research online at komen.org
