Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death Ms. Berta Rae Green, 78, of Louisville, who died Tuesday, August 6, 2019, in the Comfort Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
A native of Illinois but a lifelong resident of Louisville, Ms. Berta was born to the late Troy Birt Sager and Myrtle Derring Sager. She was a Certified Nurses' Assistant specializing in Home Health Care, employed by University Health Care and a member of Shekinah Baptist Church.
Ms. Berta was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by sons and daughters in law Steven and Terry Green of Louisville, Doug and Amy Green, of Texico, IL, daughter, Carol Collins, of Louisville, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several neighbors and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Louisville is in charge of arrangements.
