Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and memorial services of Mr. Bernard Colen Todd, Jr., age 56 of Georgia Highway 102 West Gibson, who died Friday evening December 16, 2022, in an automobile accident.

Services to honor his life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday December 27, 2022, in the Sheppard memorial chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson with Rev. David Kitchens officiating. The Todd family will receive friends following the services.

A native of Thomson, Jr was a son of the late Katherine Kitchens Williams, and Bernard Colen Todd. He had worked at the Glascock County Landfill for several years. Jr was a member of Gibson First Baptist Church and in his spare time loved to fish.

Mr. Todd was preceded in death by his mother and is survived by his father, Bernard Colen Todd (Barbara Johnson) of Stapleton, sister Marie Todd Samples of Gibson, brother Rodney Todd (Tracy) of Eatonton, nephew, Spencer Samples, of Gibson.
