Barbara R. Mandot

LOUISVILLE  - Ret. Lt. Col. Barbara R. Mandot, age 85 of Walnut Street, died Tuesday morning, December 30, 2014 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Jacob Schoen & Sons Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA  70119.

A native of New Orleans, LA, Barbara is a daughter of the late Denis and Loretta Pitre Mandot. She is a retired Lt. Col. in the Air Force and was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Louisville.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by several nieces and nephews, sister in law; Phyllis Mandot of Pear River, LA, and lifelong companion Sara "Sally" Maner.

Taylor Funeral Home, 401 W 8th St, Louisville is in charge of local arrangements.
