Ann (New) Prescott

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Ann New Prescott, age 82 of Mole Road Wadley who died Monday November 8, 2021, in the Augusta University Hospital.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday November 10, 2021, in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Louisville with Rev. John Russell and Mr. Tommy New officiating. Mrs. Prescott will be laid to rest in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Charles Smith, Jr., Tony Otis, Joseph Hartley, Chris New, Adam Oglesby & Tom Oglesby.

A native of Wadley, Ann was the daughter of Inman D. New & Millie Bargainnier New She retired from Yeomans & Associates as an Insurance Agent and was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, Lisa Ann Farrer and Andrea T. Farrer, brother, Ray New, sister, Alice McNeely and is survived by: grandson, Shaun Cadman of Louisville, great-grandson, Hunter Cadman of Alto, niece, Terese New Dixon (Cliff) of Wadley, Nephew Chris New of Dearing, niece, Ann McNeely of Wadley, Nephew, Bud McNeely (Joanna) of Wadley, 2 great nieces, 2 great nephews, step daughter, Savannah Prescott Reeves of Jackson, special friend Hattie Kittles of Louisville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service Wednesday at the funeral home.
