Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Polly Ann Chalker Kitchens, age 79, of Gibson, who died Friday evening January 24th at the Gibson Health and Rehab, surrounded by her loving family. Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday January 28th at the church that she and her husband co-founded in 1983, Full Gospel Lighthouse Church, 5727 Purvis School Rd, Stapelton GA 30820. The services are officiated by her family with her husband and children ministering. Pallbearers will be: Andrew Turner, Josh Kitchens, Jonathan Kitchens, Jeremiah Kitchens, Matthew Kitchens and Jimmy Rhodes.

Mrs. Kitchens was a native of Glascock County personified Proverbs 31. She was a virtuous woman, a homemaker, a minister and a minister's wife She loved her Lord and Savior and served with her husband in ministry for 54 years,. She worked in various compacities throughout her life that contributed to her community. Many lives were influenced in a positive way.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Cecil Chalker and Mattie Landrum Chalker; grandson, Eric Andrew Turner; sister, Evelyn Brown; brothers, Earnest Chalker, JC Chalker and Lewis Chalker. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Rev Ralph Kitchens; children, Tammy Turner (Freddie) of Gibson, GA, Richard Kitchens (Paulette) of Hartsville, SC and David Kitchens (Sandra) of Thomson, GA. Grandchildren; Tiffany Turner Poss, Andrew Turner (Heather), Joshua Kitchens (Jessica), Jonathan Kitchens (Dallas), Rebekah Anna Kitchens, Matthew Kitchens (Samantha) and Jeremiah Kitchens (Anna.) Great Grandchildren; Cheyanne Poss, Reagan Turner, Ellie-Ann Turner and Sadie-Mae Kitchens. Sisters; Elizabeth Prescott & Gladys Hilson and a host of nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Monday evening, January 27th at the funeral home in Gibson.
