Mrs. Ann Holliday Bryant, age 79 of Athens, GA, formally of Louisville, died Monday, December 14, 2015.
A Graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 18, 2015 in the Louisville City Cemetery with Rev. David Boggs officiating.
A native of Athens, GA, Mrs. Bryant spent most of her life in Louisville and was the daughter of the late Marion Page Holliday and Henry Campbell Holliday. She attended Athens High and then went to Sullens in Bristol, TN for her senior year and graduated from there. Mrs. Bryant earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Georgia and her post graduate degree in microbiology from the Medical College of Georgia. She was a member of the Louisville United Methodist Church and the Louisville Garden Club. Mrs. Bryant's grandfather, W. D. Page, was the mayor of Augusta during World War II.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, and husband; Q. L. Bryant, Jr. and is survived by her children and step-children; Stacey Hughes and husband, John, Mack Dana Jones, Jr., and wife Ranci, J. J. Waters and Vic Jones and wife; Maura, sister; Page Bowden, grandchildren; Eleanor and Jack Hughes, Jeffrey and Michael Waters, Dan Lovelock, and Penny Jones, and great-grandchild; Sailor Waters.
The Bryant family will received friends immediately following the service at the Louisville United Methodist Church.
Taylor Funeral Home, 401 W 8th St, Louisville, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
