Mrs. Angie C. Wren, age 51 of Highway 17 South Louisville, died Friday morning, August 16, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 18, in the Old Bethel Baptist Church in Bartow with Rev. Randy Mimbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn Davis, Dennis Davis, Jonathan Davis, Billy Braddy, Lawson Brown, Cleve Lamb, Eugene Cunningham, July Carr and Alan Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be the deacons of Old Bethel Baptist Church.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Wren was a daughter of the late Lester Allen Cobb and Mary Elizabeth Garrett Cobb. She was employed by the Jefferson County Clerk office and was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church for over 30 years where she had taught Sunday school and served as Church Treasurer.
Angie was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her husband of 17 years Barry Wren of Louisville, son Bailey Wren of Louisville, daughter Ashley and Timothy Watkins of Louisville, mother Mrs. Elizabeth Cobb of Bartow, sisters Panda and James Arrington of Bartow, and Leslie and Ernie Newton of Louisville, grandson Lane Thomas Watkins, mother-in-law, Nell Wren, of Louisville sister-in-laws, Patricia & Jimmy Goodwin of Louisville, Dianne & Ralph Hadden of Gibson, several nieces, nephews & many friends.
The family will be at the residence 5623 Highway 17 South in Louisville and will receive friends 1:00 to 2:30 PM, Sunday, August 18, at Old Bethel Baptist Church, prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund, 1275 Old Bethel Church Road, Bartow, Ga. 30413.
