Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Roy Nathan “Bucky” Norton, Jr age 70 of Highway 1 North Louisville who died Thursday evening December 20, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 23, in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
A native of Jefferson county, Bucky was the son of the late Roy Nathan Norton, Sr. and Margaret Truitt Norton. He was a graduate of Louisville Academy and worked as an engineer for GPTV.
He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Betty Norton, a daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” Melson, son and daughter in law, Roy and Emily Norton, Jr., a twin sister, Mary and Larry Rhodes, grandchildren, Kinsley Melson, Jackson Norton, Calin Norton, all of Louisville, niece, Clelia Rhodes Couch, several other nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, December 22, at the funeral home.
A special thanks is given to his caretakers, Jacklon “Jackie” Farmer, Mickie Hannah and Lynn McDonald.
