Marjorie Stevens

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Marjorie Stevens, age 93 of River Road, Wadley, who died Wednesday morning, April 12, 2017 in the Vero Health & Rehab of Wadley.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2017 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Shoemaker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery.

A lifelong resident of Wadley and the Moxley community, Marjorie was a daughter of the late Jesse and Pearl Moore May.  She was a graduate of Wadley High school, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Louisville, a homemaker and had worked for many years at the Huddle House. Marjorie was the last of ten children of the May family.

Mrs. Stevens is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stiles Stevens and daughter, Marcia Stevens and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Stevens and Battle family would like to say a special thank you to the friends of Marjorie, to Vero Health and Rehab of Wadley and to Kenny and Thelma Watkins for the love and support given to Mrs. Stevens.
