Carolyn Rowell Obituary
Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Carolyn Hattaway Rowell, age 89, of Louisville, who died Saturday afternoon November 24, 2018 in the Vero Health & Rehab of Wadley.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday December 1, 2018 in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Scotty Hattaway officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews.
A native of Louisville, Carolyn was a daughter of the late John T. Hattaway, Sr., and Maggie Mullins Hattaway. She worked many years as a phone receptionist with Murphy Roberson and was a minister of the Gospel.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Rowell, brothers, John Hattaway, Jr., Jerry Hattaway, Wayne Hattaway, sisters, Mary Lamb, Edith Kelley, Margaret Walden & Barbara Pennington and is survived by a sister, Ethel Davis of Louisville several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service and immediately following the service.
