Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Barbara Uhl Johnson, age 70, of Calhoun Street, Gibson, who died Monday afternoon, December 3, 2018 in the University Hospital Augusta.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M Friday, December 7, in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Gibson with Rev. Jackie Downs officiating. Entombment will follow in the Gibson Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Germany, Barbara was a daughter of the late Paul Uhl and Hildgard Barth Uhl. She was a homemaker and a member of Mitchell Full Gospel Church.
Barbara is survived by daughter, Marilyn Peebles of Gibson, sons, Guido Kuuq, of Germany and Steve Johnson of Thomson; brothers, Karl Heins Uhl and Wolfgang Uhl, sister Hannelore Huber, all of Germany, 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Friday prior to the funeral service at Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson.
