Obituary
Louisville - Rosie Mae Rabun, age 85, of West 8th Street, died Thursday, March 26, 2009, in the Glendale Nursing Home in Wadley.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 29, 2009, graveside in the Louisville City Cemetery with Rev. Randy Mimbs officiating.
Pallbearers will be Robert Huff, Max Walden, Sam Rabun, Barry Wren, Charlie Walden and William Stevens.
A native of Jefferson County, Mrs. Rabun was a daughter of the late Walter Clarence & Liza Roseanna Williford Gibson. She was a homemaker and a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Bartow.
Mrs. Rabun was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Frances Purvis, two husbands, Wilbert Scarboro & White C. Rabun, two sisters, Lucille Moxley and Beatrice Martin, and is survived by daughter, Joann Brantley of Kite, sister, Julia Beasley of Savannah.
In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be made to Old Bethel Baptist Church in Bartow.
The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday, March 29, 2009, at the funeral home.
