Obituary

Louisville – Mrs. Peggy Louise Thorne, age 71, died Wednesday morning March 25, 2009, in the University Hospital in Augusta.

Services will be private.

Mrs. Thorne was a native of Reynolds, Missouri, a daughter of the late Doyle Louis and Wilma Pauline Patterson Fitzgerald. She was a retired paralegal, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and of the Baptist faith. Above all, she was a wife and mother.

Mrs. Thorne was preceded in death by her father, a granddaughter, Kristina (Sissy) Stevens, and is survived by her husband, Richard Eugene Thorne of Louisville; mother, Wilma Pauline Langkof; sons, Ted Virgil Thorne and wife Dawn, Richard James Thorne, and Scott Allen Thorne; daughters, Sheri Lee and husband Dave Edward Stevens, Cynthia Lynn and husband Steven Blaise Boudreaux; brothers, Stanley Gant, Charles Gant, Bill Gant, and Danny Gant; sister, Molly White, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The Thorne family will receive friends 2:00 t0 4:00PM Friday, March 27, at the funeral home.
