Mrs. Margaret Livingston Hattaway, age 81 of Elm Street Louisville, died Saturday, August 29, 2009.
Graveside Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2009, in the Louisville City Cemetery with Rev. Hardy Owens officiating. Pallbearers will be Stephen Burkett, Russ Handberry, Tony Hattaway, Christopher Hattaway, Neal Livingston, and Jonathan DeLeon.
A native of Jefferson County, Mrs. Hattaway was a daughter of the late John Marion & Almerine Dudley Livingston. She retired after several years of service from the Jefferson County Tax Assessor’s Office and was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hattaway is survived by daughter, Jessika Handberry and her husband James of Brooks, GA, son James Leon Hattaway of Louisville, brothers, Robert H. Livingston of Louisville, John M. Livingston, III of Louisville, and Gilbert Livingston of La Plata, MD., 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Hattaway family will receive friend 1:00 until 2:45 Tuesday at the funeral home.
