Mrs. Juanita McNeely Gordon, age 83, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, November 21, 2009, in the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Robert E. Sabo, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Michael McNeely, Clayton Henson, Jack Borders, James Farrer, Murray Hadden, and Ronnie Horseman.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Gordon, was a daughter of the late William Dewey and Latishia Funderburg McNeely and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eldon Gordon; a sister, Harriet Henson; and a brother, Calvin McNeely and is survived by a son, Eldon Clarence “Skeeter” Gordon of Louisville; two brothers, Talmadge McNeely of Winchester, MA, and Alec McNeely of Wrens; four sisters, Louise Borders of Louisville, Martha Sabo of Carlinville, IL, Billie Farrer of Chattanooga, TN, & Hazel Horseman of North Augusta, SC, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday, at the funeral home.
Taylor Funeral Home, 401 West 8th Street, Louisville, is in charge of arrangements.
