LOUISVILLE - Mrs. Fannie Warren Stanley, age 87, died Sunday night, April 27, 2009, in the Jefferson Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Graveside 11:00AM Wednesday, April 29, 2009, in the Louisville City Cemetery with Mr. Bill Smith officiating. Nephews and friend Eddie Williams will serve as pallbearers.
A native of Jefferson County, Mrs. Stanley was born August 3, 1921, a daughter of the late Paul L. and Carrie Clark Warren. She retired from the Jefferson County Tax Commissioner’s Office and was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Doris Warren Stanley and Carolyn Warren Mays, and niece Lynn Wallom, her husband, Raymond Lewis Stanley, and is survived by nieces and their spouses: Gloria and Tommy New, Carrie and Donald Maddox, and Paula and Charles Atchison; nephews and their spouses: John and Kim Stanley, Floyd and Martha Mays, III, Gordon and Carol Mays, and William Wallom.

The Stanley family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00PM Tuesday, April 28, at the funeral home.
