Mr. Willie Clyde Dixon, age 71 of Royal Road, Girard, Georgia died Monday June 8, 2009.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday June 11, 2009 in the Louisville City Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Dixon officiating. Pallbearers will be Randy Dixon, Michael Dixon, Danny Godbee, Shane Godbee, Dale Oglesby, Todd Campbell, Dean Campbell and Rodney Campbell.
A native and lifelong resident of Girard, Mr. Dixon was a son of the late Shelley Emory and Lillie Mae Glisson Dixon. He was a Dairyman for more than 50 years and a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, a step son Tim Wall and is survived by wife Jackie Joiner Dixon of Girard, 2 daughters, Dana Dixon of Girard, and Shannon Dixon Raskin and her husband Michael of Augusta, step-son, Randy Wall of Laramie, WY., 2 step-daughters, Candy Weeks of Waynesboro and Melanie Godbee of Girard, 2 sisters, Genee Barnes, of Augusta, Elaine Wrenn of Vidalia, 11 Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
The Dixon family will receive friends at the home of Dana Dixon, 663 Royal Road Girard, GA 30426.
Taylor Funeral Home 401 West 8th Street, Louisville is in charge of arrangements.

Shannon I just want to say I am so sorry that you are having to deal with something like this. We just had a death in our family also that is why i did not get some come see you and to come to the funeral. I miss you and think about you. If you need me i am here for you. Just remember i love you and you are in my prayers always.
