Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mr. Terry Smith, age 64 of Ways Grove Church Road Wrens, who died Friday evening July 17, 2015 in the University Hospital in Augusta.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Louisville. Burial will be in the Parkers United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bartow.

A native of Bartow, Mr. Smith was a son of the late George Battle Smith & Myrtle Palmer Smith. He served in the Georgia National Guard, was a jack of all trades and a member of Parkers United Methodist Church in Bartow.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Jimmy Smith, and a sister; Margaret Miller. He is survived by sons & daughters-in-law; Tim & Tasha Smith of Wadley, Michael & Tara Smith of Wadley, sisters; Betty Jean & Billy Cooper of Bartow, Annette & John Livingston of Louisville, sister-in-law; Ruth Smith of Louisville, a special friend; Christine Smith of Wrens, step-daughter;, Brandy Nichols of Wrens, 2 grandchildren; Jessica Smith & Kelley Smith, a step-granddaughter; Hannah Nichols, great grand-daughter; Emma Pickard, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family may be contacted at the home of Michael & Tara Smith, 4976 Old US 1 in Wadley and will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, July 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
