Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Sarah Eunice Johnson Wilcher, age 81 of Hamburg State Park Road, Warthen, Georgia who died Wednesday, February 3, 2016.  

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Mt. Nebo Primitive Baptist Church, Mitchell, Georgia with Elder Lee Price officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wilcher, Andrew Wilcher, Nick Wilcher, Andy Rodgers, John Raley, Trey Price and Earl Hutto.

A native of Glascock County, Eunice was a daughter of the late Edward S. Johnson and Lizzie Parrish Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Nebo Primitive Baptist Church in Mitchell, Georgia.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Lamar Wilcher; son, George Henry Wilcher; brothers, Glynn Johnson and Everett Johnson; and sister, Margaret J. Wilcher. She is survived by her daughter, Della and Kris Kirkpatrick; sisters, Mattie Ann and Eston Price; Geneva J. and Don Kitchens; Ollie Mae and Ted Cooper; and brother, Gene Johnson.  She is also survived by her granddaughter, Abby Kirkpatrick and grandson, Andrew Kirkpatrick, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 5, 2016 at the funeral home.
