I am so sorry to read this article. Mrs. Farmer taught me in the third grade. , she would read to our class every day after lunch, I loved being in her class.

Always remembered the Farmers winning yard of the month! I came to Louisville in fourth grade so I just missed having her as a teacher, but she was a very sweet person who was very proud of her children. I have a memory of great joy in helping Mrs. Farmer when I was in the medical equipment business in Augusta. We got a scooter for Mr. Farmer when he had difficulty walking. Such a wonderful person, may you rest in peace. Please accept our condolences.

Emily was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I loved knowing her and growing up playing around her house on east broad street next door to Miss Betty and Harriett Farmer.

Mrs. Farmer was one of my elementary school teachers at Louisville Academy. An excellent teacher. I still remember her smile. Condolences to the family!

Mary, you have our deepest heartfelt sympathy, in the loss of your mother.
She was a sweet lady, and I will miss seeing when I go to see Mother.

As we age, we often look back at certain teachers who made a difference in our lives. Mrs. Farmer was certainly one of those teachers for me. She was a great instructor for class room studies and a greater instructor for lifetime experiences.
