Dorthey Quick

Taylor Funeral Home of Waynesboro announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Dorthey Quick, age 84 of Highway 24 West in Waynesboro, who died Friday evening, September 23, 2016 in the Keysville Nursing Home.

Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 28, in the Taylor Funeral Home Waynesboro with Rev. Wes Lawson officiating.

A native of Santa Maria, CA, Mrs. Quick was a daughter of the late Charles David Keith & Ida Louise Loth Keith. Dorthey had lived in Waynesboro for over 45 years. She had worked for Wheelers for many years and was a home maker. She was a jack of all trades and a member of Rosemont Baptist Church.

Dorthey was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by: sons, David K. & Georgia A. Wagner, Destry J. Wagner, Kenny T. Quick and Kevin M. Quick; sister, Charlotte Todd; grandchildren, David K. Wagner, Jr., Chad M. Wagner, Makayla Quick, Gabriel D. Wagner, Cameron R. Bull, Sydney K. Bull, Jasmin Welker, and Brittany Johnson; great grandchildren, Aislynn Chan, Sydni Wagner, Anwen Wagner and David Wagner; several nieces & nephews.

The Quick family will receive friends following the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Waynesboro is in charge of arrangements.
