David C Pinkston

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. David C. Pinkston, age 55 of Atlanta, formally of Louisville, who died Sunday, October 18, 2015.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the family lot of the Dixon Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Terrence Jordan, Daris Pinkston, Derrien Robinson, Warren Gibbons, Henry Laster, Jr., and Eric Pinkston.

David was a native of Louisville and the son of the late Thomas Pinkston, Jr. & Nellie Frances Warren Pinkston. At an early age, he united with the Christian family at the Dixon Chapel A.M.E church in Louisville.  He graduated from the Jefferson County School System. After completing his education, he enlisted and served in the United States Marine Corps and worked several years as an electrician.

Mr. Pinkston is survived by 1 daughter; Ashley Simmone Pinkston of Louisville, 5 brothers;  Edward & Lizzie Pinkston of Louisville, Ethan & Charlene Pinkston of Grovetown, Ricky & Jewell Pinkston of Louisville, Frankie & Tonia Pinkston of Rossville, and Tyrone & Keisa Pinkston of Loganville, 5 Sisters; Betty & Henry Laster of Louisville, Penny & Jack Gibbons of Louisville, Clara & George Outler, of Evans, Mary & Floyd Pinkston-Haynes of Grovetown  and Jewelstine & Fernandes Robinson of Norcross  and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

The Pinkston family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, October 23, at the funeral home.
