Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Betty Proctor Wasden, age 88 of 3541 Hwy 1 North, Louisville, GA, who died Tuesday evening, January 23, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Louisville First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Smith and Mr. Ott Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Alan Wasden, Clayton Wasden, Logan Wasden, Baron Wasden, Jacob Wasden and Eric Brankley. Honorary Pallbearer’s will be: Warren O. Wasden, Jr., Rafe A. Wasden, Kaleb W. Wasden, and Ella H. Jones.
A native of Thomson Ga., Betty was the daughter of the late Rudolph Proctor and Ola Mae Sills Proctor. She was a graduate of Louisville Academy and was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church where she served a church secretary for many years, was a member of the adult choir, taught Children’s Sunday School and served as pianist.
Mrs. Wasden was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Warren W. Wasden and a son, Warren E. Wasden and is survived by sons and daughters in-law, Wesley P. & Sadie Wasden of Eastman, Ga., Richard l. & Jan Wasden of Louisville, and Michael T. Wasden of Louisville; grandchildren, Warren O. Wasden, Candice L. Wasden, Baron W Wasden, Jacob A. Wasden, Lori H. Jones & Pat Harrington; great grandchildren; Warren O. Wasden, Jr., Rafe A. Wasden, Kaleb W. Wasden & Ella H. Jones; sisters, Margaret Kaercher, Cherry Hill, N.J. & Mary Nell Gibson, Richmond, VA.; several nieces and nephews.

The Wasden family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, January 26, at the Funeral Home.
