Annie Ruth (Batchelor) Cawley

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services for Mrs. Annie Ruth Cawley, age 81 of Mitchell Warrenton Road, Mitchell, GA, who died Sunday, October 18, 2015, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in the Mitchell City Cemetery with Rev. Jacky Downs officiating. Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Akers, David Akers, Brandon Johnson, Jimmy Gibson, Ernie Rubert and Edward Parnell.

A native of Lagrange, GA, Annie was a daughter of the late Loyd Allen Batchlor and Exe Idele Carter Batchlor. Before retiring, she was employed by Warrenton Health and Rehabilitation Center as an LPN and was a member of Mitchell Full Gospel Church.

Mrs. Cawley was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Glenn Lamar Cawley and son; Gary L. Cawley and is survived by son; George Edward Cawley of Mitchell, daughter; Gwen Ellen Davis of Mitchell, brother, Edward Batchlor; sisters, Edna Reynold, Ruby Batchlor, Mary DeFore, Kaye Faulk, Faye West, Carrie Simmon and Nail Carr; 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The Cawley family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
